Based on the combination of organizational, process, and technology perspectives, he led key projects under each stage and reinforced a digital culture. Starting with change management adapted to digital innovation, he cultivated a team of ICT experts, encouraged creativity and collaboration with open spaces, published monthly digital newsletters, and launched monthly digital seminars to exchange ideas on new technologies.|
From being a hardware-focused manufacturing company, Sohn paved the way for Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction to incorporate software technology as one of its key offerings. By including remote monitoring service and cloud-based software service to its portfolio, it became the first company in the industry to expand its business scope. With agile-based projects, such as a boiler tube management system, a combustion optimization solution, and the PreVision solution, he has inspired a more flexible work culture and sped up decision-making processes. Ever since assuming a directorship role at Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, Sohn has been committed to the acceleration of the adoption of emerging and disruptive technologies in the organization and has been instrumental to its transition into a data-driven power plant company.
